About this Website:
Bullying is a huge issue in Australia. Bullying is unwanted, aggressive and nasty repetitive behaviour towards another person to intimidate them and make them feel secluded. It affects anybody at any age for many reasons. It can happen anywhere at any time; at school, the workplace, on the internet etc. Bullying can have a huge impact on a person’s life; it may have a physical or mental effect on a person which then can lead to lifelong medical issues or problems.
People who bully another person usually have a problem of their own which they are unable to communicate with somebody about and then it results in them having to put down someone else to make them feel tough, better, smarter, stronger than other people. Bullying has changed dramatically over the years because of the large amount of technology including social networking and mobile phones that is available today which people use on a daily basis. Before social networking it was possible to leave school or work where you was getting bullied and go home where you could forget about it. Now Bullying is everywhere you go, it’s on the internet, on your phone, at the shops it’s everywhere! Bullying is an ongoing problem that is getting worse. |
People need to work together, help the victims and help to put a stop to this issue. Bullying is a big problem. It can make kids feel hurt, scared, sick, lonely, embarrassed and sad. Bullies might hit, kick, or push to hurt people, or use words to call names, threaten, tease, or scare them. A bully might say mean things about someone, grab a kid's stuff, make fun of someone, or leave a kid out of the group on purpose. Some bullies threaten people or try to make them do things they don't want to do.
