The Victim
‘Victims of bullying include girls and boys of all ages, sizes and backgrounds.’ Some children are more of a target than others to be bullied because they appear small, weak, insecure, sensitive, or ‘different’ from their peers. Some children can lower their risk of being bullied by dressing or acting in ways so they ‘fit in’, however children should not have to change to avoid the threat of bullying. Every child’s uniqueness should be respected for the significance it brings to the group, instead of intimidated to reduce the risk of bullying.
